Mentoring Philosophy

Dr. Fantauzzo is actively engaged in mentoring and promoting an inclusive scientific research environment both within her own laboratory and throughout the University. She is deeply committed to her trainees’ research training and career development as independent research scientists and, as such, devises individual plans that address any weaknesses and expose them to several training areas critical for their development. Opportunities

We welcome inquiries from highly motivated, creative and interactive applicants for the following positions: 

Postdoctoral fellow candidates should email a letter of interest, a curriculum vitae and contact information for three professional references to Dr. Fantauzzo. Preference will be given to applicants with a strong background in biochemistry and/or mouse developmental biology.

Graduate student candidates should consult program websites for admissions instructions. Dr. Fantauzzo is training faculty in the Graduate Program in Cell Biology, Stem Cells and Development; the Molecular Biology Graduate Program; the Biomedical Sciences Program and the Medical Scientist Training Program. Accepted students interested in rotating should email Dr. Fantauzzo to discuss availability and possible rotation projects.
